Each
creation is handcrafted and hand painted. The bodies
are all one piece, hand-carved from a single block
of bass wood, nose to tail. All of the fins including
the tail are hand-carved from wood and inserted into
the body. Charlie paints each carving by hand and
sets them into a Manzanita root stand. You'll find
that no two carvings are exactly alike and the exact
pose of the fish as well as the paint will vary from
one carving to the next. It all depends on which way
the wind's blowing on the day Charlie carves the piece.
